Restaurant 36 On the Quay with its four en-suite rooms is the perfect location for a short break, or even for that all-important business meeting. This restaurant with rooms is situated in a 17th century building on the quayside, with stunning views overlooking Emsworth harbour. Since Karen and Ramon Farthing purchased the restaurant in 1996,they have built a reputation for fine cuisine reflected in the many food awards received from that date. This highly rated award winning restaurant is placed in the top ten percent of all the major UK food guides. From March 2003, Karen and Ramon opened their first floor rooms. The four individually and tastefully decorated en-suite rooms give you that overwhelming sense of tranquillity and relaxation, with serene luxury and comfort.
 


All of the rooms, with their use of muted earth-tone colours, clean lines and uncluttered surfaces leave you with a sense of light and space. The attention to detail has not been neglected, while the overall interior design retains the original features of this historical building - for example one of the exposed beams in

All of the rooms have a double bed, colour TV, bathrobe, complimentary mineral water, toiletries and, tea and coffee making facilities. A modem socket is located in the first floor lounge. The first floor lounge area and (weather permitting) the adjoining outside sun terrace, are the perfect places to enjoy breakfast or a relaxing drink.

This double room, with comfortable seating area of chairs has a view from the window overlooking the quayside and harbour. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.












This one-room suite with a sofa in the seating area is ideally positioned at me front of the building with perfect views overlooking the
quayside and harbour. And, what better than to relax In the large bath whilst watching the boats from the window in the bathroom! The exposed original beams add to the overall character of this room with a view.
 





 

 

This double room with seating area of chairs overlooks the boatyard of the near-by  Slipper Sailing Club with views through to tie Millpond beyond. There is a bath in the en-suite bathroom.

Cinnamon     Cardamom Cottage    



This slightly larger double room,
with comfortable seating area of chairs overlooks South Street and its original fishermen's cottages. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.

 

 

 

  A self-contained cottage with double bedroom, sitting room, fully equipped Kitchen, dining area, bathroom with shower plus a rear enclosed garden area with patio furniture.   



 

This quaint 16th century fisherman's cottage has been sympathetically renovated to provide all modern conveniences whilst retaining many original features.

The large exposed beam to the rear of the sitting room has ' been dated from the 15th century.

Upstairs in the bedroom is an original wall-fresco which was uncovered during the renovation work.

The sofa-bed in the sitting room provides additional sleeping facilities suitable for children (supplement  applies)
